We checked in on August 6th at around 6pm for just 1 night. Is is a small hotel that looks like a run down office building from the outside. When you arrive it is actually pretty modern on the inside. I was advised by the agent at the front desk that they had only opened up 10 days before my arrival. We were charge 12 EUR for parking in their garage. We were advised that the front door would lock at 11pm but we could open it with the room key. The room is very modern and minimalist but you can see that the wood furniture is not new as it has scratches, etc. The bathroom only has 1 small light bulb and there are no toiletries offered. They have a liquid soap compartment by the sink wall and another one at the shower wall, so you have to wash your hair with soap. The towel hooks are coming out from the marble wall, like they are ready to fall. There is no phone in the room or fridge. The worst part is that after we checked in we left right away to visit the area and came back at midnight. When we arrive we notice that the A/C was not working and the room was very hot as the temperature outside was around 85F degrees. We played around with the thermostat settings and kept getting an error message on the display screen. I went downstairs to try and find somebody to help us and there is absolutely nobody in charge after 11pm. I called the ALDA hotels number from my cel and no answer, I sent an email through their website and they have still not answered. The temperature in the hallways was like an oven, no A/C either. After a horrible night of no sleep I went down to the front desk to complaint and they said that they had advised us upon check in that they had written a phone number on the key envelope for any emergency, which we saw but did not think it was a phone number due to the amount of digits but they never informed us of that. We requested to speak to a supervisor but the front desk person said there was no supervisor around, she would not agree to any kind of credit back on my room charge either. Is very obvious that this hotel has opened their doors before finishing the work and they still have a lot of issues to work out to be considered a hotel, starting with employees trained in good customer service.
Clean and quiet. Great choice and good value for money.
For a 3 star it is very good: everything is very very clean. Very well located and very close to the center. Very friendly staff. The rooms are cozy and the hotel is modernly decorated and bright.
The hotel is quiet and there is no noise to sleep, it is very close to a square with bars but in a quiet place and does not bother people sleeping. I also warn that I have gone on weekdays and perhaps this changes on the weekend, but due to its situation it does not seem that way to me.
If I have to make a complaint, it is that the bathroom in the room has a transparent glass door that leads to the bedroom (and without a latch) and at night if you turn on the light in the bathroom you wake up your partner.
Approved.
You should test your mattresses and pillows. They are horrible...the worst I have found in a hotel in years!!!
The trash can in my bathroom had not been changed from previous guests, I guess by mistake.
I imagine it is not usual, but it was obvious that in one of the rooms the joints came and went with total impunity. What a smell when you came out of the elevator!!!
Otherwise everything is very correct: location, price, facilities, friendliness...
The worst, without a doubt, are the mattresses. Impossible to rest. The rest are specific things.
Very good location, next to the cathedral. Spacious rooms but not very clean, same with the bathroom. The walls must be made of paper because my goodness what you could hear... let's congratulate the couple who spent there the night of the Saturday, July 15, they must have had a great time but they should have a little shame and respect for others since there are also children and signs that after 11 o'clock do not make noise and I spent the night listening YES Yes AHI AHi More More ....For things like that it wouldn't be bad if there was someone at the reception, not a little screen to talk to...
The hotel has a perfect location. In the middle of a humid neighborhood, 2 minutes from the Plaza Mayor and 5 from the cathedral. It has many bars nearby and an unbeatable atmosphere. It also has parking. Good service.
Modest hotel and very well located. Room with a large and comfortable bed and without any extra, there is nothing at all. Everything very clean, the bathroom without luxuries. Breakfast with little to choose from and a buffet, these days it doesn't seem normal to me. People touching everything and milling about without masks. The girls at the reception were charming and attentive.
The location is perfect and also quiet but continuous service at reception is missing. On the other hand, being new and brand new, yesterday we arrived at 9:30 p.m. and the room was unmade...so we had to do it ourselves even though we reported it to reception. 124 euros for just accommodation for two nights in a low room, whose windows face the street floor seems expensive to us
